While I might choose a different major if I could go back in time (writing has never been my strong suit), studying journalism at the University of Florida played a big role in shaping my photography. I specialized in photojournalism, and that documentary-style storytelling continues to influence my work today.

Of course, I love capturing those once-in-a-lifetime, show-stopping moments. But it's the quiet, candid ones—the in-between glances, the laughter when no one’s looking—that truly make a story come alive.
